Mariah Biscan, M.A., BCBA — Founder & Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Mariah brings over a decade of experience serving children and families as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She previously served as a Clinical Director for a well-known ABA organization throughout the Chicagoland area.
Through her work, Mariah gained firsthand insight into the challenges of large, clinic-based ABA models, where decisions are often driven by growth and revenue rather than what is best for families. These experiences shaped her belief that therapy should always prioritize children and families first.
Mariah firmly believes that in-home ABA therapy leads to more meaningful and lasting outcomes than clinic-based care. She is committed to providing the highest quality ABA services exclusively through the in-home model, even knowing this approach is less profitable than traditional clinic settings. Her goal is to build the best, not the biggest.
At Believing Is Achieving, Mariah is intentional about doing things differently — keeping care family-centered, building close relationships with families, respecting their time, and never recommending excessive therapy hours simply because insurance allows it. She remains committed to being an in-home-only provider so families can trust that care decisions are always made with their best interests in mind.
