Who we are
Believing is Achieving Autism Services, LLC is an in-home-only Applied Behavior Analysis provider based in Schaumburg, Illinois, serving 36 communities across the Chicagoland area. We are independently owned by Mariah Biscan, M.A., BCBA — a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than a decade of clinical experience. There is no private equity sponsor, no venture capital investor, and no corporate parent. We are registered federally under NPI 1548043524, with Mariah Biscan listed as the authorized official, Founder/BCBA.
We deliver 100% of therapy in the family's home. We accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and Optum. We do not use waitlists. Families participate in selecting their child's therapist.
Our mission
To inspire families across Chicagoland to believe in their child's potential by providing exceptional in-home therapy that transforms behaviors once thought impossible to change.
Why we exist
Mariah spent years inside large, clinic-based ABA organizations, including a role as Clinical Director for a well-known Chicagoland provider. She saw how often decisions were shaped by growth and revenue rather than by what was best for families — hour recommendations driven by what insurance allowed, therapists assigned rather than chosen, and children moved into clinics because clinics are more profitable.
She founded Believing is Achieving to build the opposite. Her stated goal is to build the best, not the biggest.

With decades of experience as therapists and teachers, our team leads with compassion, understanding, and heart. None of us come from business or finance — we're simply people who've dedicated our careers to supporting children and families, and that purpose guides every decision we make.
